Hey everybody,
My Molly doll is having a problem, her head keeps on falling off,
I've tried to tighten it, but I can't tighten it enough.
She is PM and kind of plush around the middle, if you know what I mean,
I could send her into AG Hospital, but I think it would kind of be a rip off,
plus, I'm kind of afraid of what they might do to her, any suggestions?

I usually find it hard to tighten heads by myself so I ask my daughter to lend me a hand. Actually, all she needs to do is lend a finger to keep the tie tight until I tie the strings the second time. Works well for us. Good luck!

I used a pencil to tighten my PM Sam.

I had the same problem with a doll. Sometimes, you need to remove the head, and adjust the cord with the head off. Gather the fabric back on each side to expose more of the cord. When you replace the head, draw the string around the neck as tightly as possible, making sure the fabric still meets. Once it is good and tight tie a knot. The knot should have enough hold to it that you can pull it really tight, then knot it a second time.
I know I have not described this very well, but hopefully you know what I mean, If not, I can try to take some photos for you.
I also removed a tiny bit of stuffing from the neck area, and placed the stuffing inside the dolls head for safe keeping.

Have someone push on the top of the head for you. It shoves it farther into the body and can hlp with being able to tighten her strings. If you have a WB doll or many of the PM dolls, for that matter you may consider doing some "liposuction" and taking out a bit of her stuffing to make her clothes fit better too.
Good luck.
